My contacts just aren't doing it for me anymore. My right eye is almost always blurry despite having the correct power.

I have a good friend who does and he loves them. He doesn't wear contacts though, just swaps them out for his regular glasses.

I have a pair they are several years old now and have held up great. They weren't cheap and luckily my script hasn't changed over the last few years.

VanRich - I was set to get prescription costas a couple of years ago.

My right eye vision was too weak - they would not fit my right eye prescription in the frame.

The eye glasses place counseled that if you are late 30s and 40s and your vision is starting to change rapidly, the expense may not be worth it.

I've had some since 2003. Frames have worn out and the lenses are scratched, but I still wear them regularly.

I got them because of astigmatism in my right eye that gave me the same issues you have and contacts became uncomfortable.

True statement, though the age can vary a bit. Mine didn't change rapidly until almost 50 (always did have very good far vision, still do but need minor correction). Script changed every year from 49-52 but has remained constant the last 3 visits.

Mine hasn't changed much in the past 10 years. I have a pair of Maui Jim and Costas that are prescription. Both are great. Prefer the MJ for driving and Costa for outdoors.

Correct power doesn't work unless the lens fits correctly. I went through this several years ago. Finally changed Dr. and got the right fit... all has been good since then.
That being said my sister in law wears Costas prescription and likes them.... she can't wear contacts.

I want a pair bad but at five plus frames that's crazy expensive. I'll probably still do it though

I do. They work well and are very comfortable. Ordered through frames direct and got them in about 10 days.

I had a pair of Rx Harpoons. The covering wore off after 2 years. They refused to replace it. Switched to RayBans.

I wasn't sure about buying a nice pair of Rx sunglasses so I took a chance and got some on zenni optical's website. Very pleased with the quality of the frames and clarity of the polorized lens. When my script changes I'm not sure I'll go looking to spend $500 when I spent $50-$100 on these.
