Could be completely wrong though

remember the NFL memo to players

-don't use the ATM
-don't wear jewelry
-don't leave the hotel
-don't order room service
-don't drink water or just ice
-only eat meals prepared by the team

I wish San Juan, PR were more feasible. That would be cooler than Mexico City.

But the problems will start to come when you have to figure out where to put 16 more minor league franchises.

They would either need to relax the rules on how close affiliated minor league teams can be to major league teams or hope that a lot more medium sized towns are dumb enough to fund a ballpark.

I had a sibling who lived there 5 years. It's an awesome place for nightlife and food. Some awesome looking women like in Miami or L.A.

But yeah, you will get robbed once a year and sometimes by the police.

That '94 team who had the best record in baseball had

a lineup featuring M. Grissom, W. Coredro, L. Walker, M. Alou, Cliff Floyd, Mike Lansing, Rondell White

Pitching Pedro, Ken Hill, Jeff Fassero, and Kirk Rueter

Bullpen Jeff Shaw, Mel Rojas, and John Wetteland

The Carolinas are pretty much solid Braves country.

Especially South Carolina. The Panthers have a solid fanbase in South Carolina because we never had a professional football team. But the Braves have been in Atlanta since the 1960's and most folks grew up watching them on TBS. I don't think Charlotte would tap into the SC market.

Could NO handle it? I bet LSU wuold fight against it.

PR would be way better than Mexico City. Most American players would say F that to moving there.

They average 10000 for a minor league team.

ETA:

The SE needs another team to push the Braves. They have been gifted a territory with almost 30 MM people in it. They need competition.

Monterrey would be a better option in Mexico. Big time baseball city and not as far south.
