You have to give it an honest effort. You'll eventually realize why most everyone reels left handed with spinning tackle.

It's not a big deal to me to cast with my right hand, then switch the pole over to my left. I do the same whether baitcaster or spinnning reel. No use in fricking with someone over it unless you try to borrow my rig.

The switch over isn't the big deal. It's having the rod controlled by your dominant hand when working a lure. Especially with light baits.
