Little Red Rooster isn't a Dead tune.

I'm going with Box of Rain.

I don't think any of them are rated high enough to be overrated. It's certainly not Box of Rain.

It's more of a "name the songs you don't like" thread.

Obvious choice is Touch of Grey, so let's leave that one out.

Why is that one so obvious?

Phil singing Box of Rain is cringeworthy. I guess when Jerry was on it it wasn't so bad.

Tons of Steel is awful ^^^ you're right.

Probably because it's the highest rated popularity wise. Easier to be overrated when you're highly rated.

Thays why this thread has basically become "name the song you don't like" game. Not too many of the Deads song are really rated high enough to be overrated. Popularity wise.

Now among Deadheads, that's a different story. Each Head has songs that speak to him and some that you just skip when it comes up on the playlist. "Overrated" is a weird word to use for Dead songs tho.

Unbroken Chain for me.

If we're just going on songs we hate i nominate keep your day job and liberty.

Worst thing about leaving 90s shows was liberty as an encore for what seemed like every night.

High enough rated by who? Thread was more geared towards unpopular opinions on songs that are often praised by fans. It kind of goes without saying that the radio popular Dead tunes are not as great as the rest of their catalog...

Wharf Rat is one of my top 10.

Tennessee Jed and Hell in a Bucket would be my overrated Jerry and Bobby tune.
