I think this dashcam video pretty much sums up driving in Baton Rouge

Did this a-hole not notice the guy coming across? Not even sure that isn't his fault. He got in the turn lane early and was running down the center lane the way people do here. The SUV was getting into the turn lane at the dashed line where you are supposed to enter.

He got over right at the dotted line. I had a 16 yr old do that same thing to me years ago. His insurance paid the claim.

While the guy in the lexus is an idiot, the moron with the dash cam wasn't paying attention either or he would have avoided hitting the lexus.

yep, not the suv fault at all he was merging slowly being careful and this idiot was flying down the turn lane going too fast but still had more then enough time to stop but was most likely playing with his stupid camera instead of paying attention to driving.
if this video gets used In court then he will get the ticket and pay out the arse to the other guy for reckless driving and failure to yield to traffic entering the lane
