Don't cops get tased in cop academy? They know what to expect so it's not like it's a surprise.
Also for the sake of argument, it's non-lethal; is this just a publicity ploy by the cop union to drum up donations is my question.

I would like to see a study on the percentage of people killed by police that actually pay more taxes than benifits received.
