Pointing a taser at a group of cops is a good way to find out if God is real. If that is a taser in that picture, this situation could have gone FAR differently.

Agreed.

These idiots rant because it's easier to whine on the internet and get attention from stranger than hold down an actual job. They'd get fired anyway because they'd be too busy protesting in defense of felons.

This. I imagine it won't take long before some thug pulls a tazer on an officer and gets his face shot off.

Aren't tasers too expensive for the average thug to afford?

I think not being able to fit in the back of a squad car did this trick.

Gravy doesn't seem to know much,

The people he mentions ARE honorable. He does not honor them though. IF he REALLY honored them (words are the cheapest form of payment and carry no honor) then he would: 1: Get in shape and be a healthy role model to the young black male. 2: He would find ways to UNITE and not divide. 3: He would learn history better and not dis-honor the honorable by telling lies (or half truths passed off as true).

No people were enslaved to build this nation but black people, therefor America owes us a debt she can NEVER fully repay

What about all he canals that the Irish and Italians died digging for slave wages?

What about all the irish/polish/Italian immigrants paid slave wages and looked down upon by society? I guess they didn't help build this nation? Pretty sure many of those men built those skyscrapers and much of the nations basic infrastructure for next to nothing. They had very few rights and liberties. What they didn't face in ill treatment was made up in the imminent danger those jobs posed.

What about the Asian slaves that helped build the railroads?

Disease and terrible working conditions killed thousands. But I forget that ONLY blacks were slaves.

Seriously, three cops forced a guy to leave his girlfriend in a park and then had sex with her. How are they not mad about this?

At least with Alton, there was a federal investigation. In the rape case, they just investigated themselves and got acquitted due to LACK OF EVIDENCE. Take up that cause for fricks sake.

ETA it was a black woman.

I thought the video showed he was tazed by another officer
Negative. It actually looks like it came from the front of him and he was the first officer towards the crowd side.

How did it get swept under the rug? They were indicted, fired and tried in court.

It's seriously fricked up, and anyone who cares about the black community OR police oversight should be livid about it. But these assholes want to promote Alton Sterling like a goddamn role model, it's beyond frustrating.
