I admire Trump & Co for talking a big game re China but we all know the Chinese have our balls in a vice. Trump is not in a position to "destroy the Chinese economy"

In the final analysis, China will either take action to remove the North Korean threat, or the United States will collapse the economy of China with the biggest set of economic actions against China in the history of economic sanctions.
What a total load of crap.

That doesn't mean anything. Trump will do nothing, as always. He'll claim some big win, you fools will eat it up, but in reality it'll be nothing. Because it's always nothing

They really don't, we can buy our cheap shite from dozens of other countries. Their economy is very dependent on us. They might not get crippled but we could really hurt them.
It could also hurt us at the same time, short term.

It's so nice to have a foreign policy that is not the "step and fetch it" if the last 8 years.

In my view, Trump should goad North Korea into attacking the USA. Honolulu, LA or SF will be at risk but that's a risk I'm willing to take.

But just for the sake of a thought experiment, what would happen to the Chinese economy if they sold that debt?
It would not be good. Americans would slow down the purchase of Chinese goods.
Why?
Selling American debt would plummet the dollar. High supply begets lower prices. A lower dollar is terrible for the Chinese economy. They love the strong dollar because Americans can afford to buy cheap Chinese goods.
China would absolutely take the blunt end of that deal. Not only would I be buying the shite out of the bonds that just entered the market in this scenario, but so would other foreign nations. The demand would quickly eat up that supply and the dollar would bounce IMO.
China would then be left holding the short straw.

No
26K + US servicemen in SK would be their 1st target
I don't think Trump is bluffing, I think the man does not make idle threats

If they did something like that, you would still have a ton of people on the left, saying that the U.S. deserved something like that and it was due to Trump. Those type of people could really care less if US was attacked and people died. All they care about is furthering their political agenda period.
