You have to take the wisky game with a grain of salt. The D was on the field all game because our offense couldn't do anything. We win that game going away with Danny Etling at qb. Arandas defense also took the ball away and scored just as many points as our offense did so I'd say the defense was pretty damn good vs wisky.

Wisconsin - he pretty much had them locked down except for the damned TE

Auburn - kept them out of the end zone but Auburn was making plays over the middle... but I think he kept
that team WAAAAAY below their season average

A & M - Aranda did very good here. The Aggie offense to be honest is a very good offense year in and out. They move the ball on everyone

That only happened when beckwith got hurt. It's not easy running up the middle on us in general.

But it still happened. Bama has made a living running up the gut over the past 6 times.

The Florida game after losing Beckwith

They still really didn't do much. Take away that 99 yard touchdown catch (Cleveland just bitched Donte Jackson) and Florida throws for 44 total yards and rushes for 126. Not too bad. The LSU offense on the other hand...

Im not sure I would even say Wisky or Auburn

Offense scored a total of one offensive TD against both those teams together.

A&M is who we struggled with at times.

aTm. Pretty sure he's on record as being pissed about that game. Hard to put much in the Wisconsin game as it was his first and honestly Auburn didn't even score a TD.

He has said he was pissed/dwelling on it a handful of times that I remember. Wisconsin shouldn't be on the list though. Go back and watch and they scored one of our two touchdowns and got three turnovers. While his first game, our inability to do anything on offense was the defense's problem that day. I hope to see Aranda's intensity with an offense that can move the ball in the important moments. That would make us playoff caliber.

Only gave up one TD against Wisconsin and D scored a TD. Gave the offense a gift from 15 yards out and offense couldn't get a first down.

Only game where the defense didn't shine was A&M, that game became a bit worrisome. We had what appeared a comfortable lead, then had to keep scoring.
They couldn't stop Guice, but we had to keep using him because they were flying down the field every drive.
