Any 4th of July Horror Stories from Family parties?

We said f it and just stayed home. I grilled for the 2 of us.
Since wife is a vegetarian, was stuck having to grill eggplant, while putting on brauts,burgers, and some Pork steaks. Cooked it early in afternoon, then delivered some of the BBQ to my Mom and then over at the Fathers house.
Swapped Brauts/Pork steaks for a slab of baby backs she made.
Nice to just relax, grill, eat good food and no family drama.

Nah, my wife and I went out to my Mom's house... her, my sister, grandma, an aunt, and a great aunt were all there. Burgers, dogs, snacks, desserts, and beers.
No drama at all.

took a long time to convince pregnant neighborhood friend to light a firework. happened to be the one mortar that somehow blew up in the tube. she was fine and it was essentially harmless, but still loud and scary.

We ran out of home made ice cream before everyone got a bowl. It was some wild and crazy stuff man. I thought a riot was going to break out.

Well, um, actually it was a pretty nice little Tuesday, we went to Lowes. Bought some flowers, and potting soil. Then we went home and did some yard work before grilling some sausage and kabobs. Then we settled in and watched Moana with the kids and went to sleep around 10.

Stormed and the power went out in the middle of cooking yesterday, almost messed everything up. Luckily it didn't stay off too long.

Leaving Port Aransas right now after renting a beach house with some friends. A few of our girls' tops came off in the truck bed rides to the beach. However, that awesomeness was negated by having to break up two separate fights between two drunk sisters in our group...hair pulling and scratching on the beach was embarrassing as hell. And someone got drunk and proceeded to climb into the attic and put a leg through the bathroom ceiling.

Mother in laws boyfriend got drunk and left his Chihuahua in his truck for about 24 hrs. When he found it he walked up and announced it in front of all the kids who were gathered to watch fireworks. Was the first time I lit fireworks to the sound of kids crying

Just some trash in my side yard from the neighbors friends.
I dont mind picking up some firework trash, but I saw some cans and cigarette packs on the ground.
They get until I get home to pick it up and then it'll be brought back to them to clean up.

i worked. came home and mowed 4 of my neighbors grass. Was a good day.
