go look at what he's done when healthy with the kings and pels and try to tell me differently. add the fact that he s starting to hit 3s and you have the best offensive big in the league and it's not close.

You think it's not close between Cousins and AD on the offensive end? Or KAT?

he's bigger stronger better post player than love ever has been. and I like klove better than the average fan.

K Love years 1-6 (Min years): 33.2 MPG, 19.3 PPG, 12.5 RPG, 43.9 FG%
Boogie years 1-6 (Sac years): 31.7 MPG, 20.5 PPG, 10.9 RPG, 45.9 FG%

I think cousins has a much more refined post game, can score in more ways and is a better shooter. he is much more advanced at scoring unassisted. AD relies on slashing off the pick and roll and midrange jumpers. he also is a much better passer than AD.

as for your klove stats, are you not seeing more points and similar rebounds two minutes less per game with higher efficiency FG?

or are you trying to compare KLove now with Demarcus now or then?

because Demarcus last season was 24-12 and 4 while also shooting 37.5 pctg from 3. which is... better than klove this season in a straight jumpshooting role on the cavs. klove also only shot 42% from the field overall as opposed to 48% from Demarcus.

basically Demarcus is better at everything you would want from Kevin Love than Kevin Love aside from throwing outlet passes.

This doesn't even include defense.

Argue whatever you want about Cousins ranking. He is a beast and the closest thing to a dominant traditional C we have. Yet he also can stretch the floor.

As talented as Cousins is, watching him walk/trot up and down the floor has to be frustrating to watch.

I'll hazard a list even though I don't watch enough basketball for this to be an informed opinion:

1) Lebron
2) Durant
3) Steph
4) Kawhi
5) Westbrook
6) AD
7) Harden
8) CP3
9) Kyrie
10) George
11) Wall
12) Klay
13) Thomas
14) Giannis
15) Towns

honorable mention: Butler, Cousins, Derozan, Green, Griffin, Hayward, Lillard, Lowry

I'm comparing it to Kevin Love when he played in Minny. Cousins is clearly the better player now.

And I think Cousins has some of the best talent in the game. I just think he's a terrible teammate (probably the worst in the league), an average defender, and hasn't proven anything to me yet. I think he could easily jump into that top 10 next year with a good season.

You say terrible teammate, yet everyone who has played with him has nothing but raving reviews about him

He also came off a year where he put up 27.8/10.6/4.8 shooting 45/37/77....what more do you want?

The reality is when it comes to the NBA as structured, bigs unfortunately cannot dominate the game compared to a ball handler..but every team needs an elite big to contend as wwll

I'll always run with the argument that Steph Curry is a product of a the Warrior's greatness, not the other way around. He would not be nearly as good on a bad team.

Plus I can't overlook how much of a liability he is on defense most of the time, he has gotten better but still.

He's the best shooter the game has ever seen. That is not a product of anything but his talent. The Warrior's greatness creates Curry's ability to hit 27 foot 3 pointers with hands in his face? Or is it a better argument that Curry's shooting ability is what gets Draymond wide open, top of the arc 3s? Why does Klay get so many wide open 3s when the other team knows what a deadly threat he is? Because there's an even bigger threat on the court they are always worried about and shading towards.

And if you think he wouldn't easily put up 30 ppg on a bad team, then I don't think you've ever really watched him play. Or your just a hater for some strange reason.

I also think you are exaggerating calling him a liability on defense.

That makes no sense, honestly.

He's the reason everything works like it does offensively.

Steph Curry on-court last season
Overall: +18.5 per 48
w/o KD: +16.3
w/o KD and Dray: +14.4
w/o KD and Dray and Klay: +13.0

Things get pretty muddy after the top 11. I feel like there are probably 10+ guys who have a solid argument for being in that 12-15 range. But that's what I'm settling on atm.
