don't you enjoy it when your team competes for the title?

Not settling. but only one team can win it all, and it's just not smart to think we failed, or the coaches were stupid, or the players sucked when you don't win every year.

it's fantastic an fun to compete. I enjoy being in it. and it's wonderful to know our team will win the big enchilada every now and again.

when you focus on what you don't have, you miss the blessings, the fun and joy of what you do have.

moving to football, we have not competed since the debacle of you know what. I think we are getting back to competing for championships and I am looking forward to enjoying that.

Geaux tigers!

Didn't read. Too many words.
But I sure don't like when we lose a national championship

absolutely

as for football, high hopes for Coach O but the loss to UF last season has me somewhat cautious, fwiw...was a bad loss and why I think so: LF wasn't supposed to play, pre-game was pretty chippy, believe Coach O was convinced to let LF play (was an emotional decision) which ultimately hurt LSU in the contest..can't prove, just an observaton

Yes. Losing the Championship series is still better than not being in the Championship series.

This is the most important aspect besides from winning it. We're always in contention and I think that's what frustrates the fan base so much. We just haven't won in 8 years now and were a National Seed the past 6 years. That being said, I'd rather be LSU than Coastal Carolina, Vanderbilt or Virginia any day.

I enjoyed the hell out of this season. Losing always sucks, that's life, but that's part of what makes the winning all the more meaningful. We lost but we fought and both games were in doubt until late.

Now 1/9/12 I enjoyed no part of and would have gladly had us not even play in that game rather than watch that performance.

Yeah, it sucks that we lost, but we had a great season.

If you would have told me back in April that we were going to make the championship series, I would have laughed in your face.

This season was a fun ride, and it was nice to make it to Omaha and not be 0-2 or 1-2.

I'm going to stick the obligatory, it's not that LSU lost, it's how they lost. And the fact the ultimate goal was undone by dumb mistakes makes it harder to swallow.
