Klay Thompson would be my #1 target the following year with GSW's impending cap hell along with his LA ties.

Is Klay a number 1 guy on a championship team?

Yes. I know I'm in the minority but I am not ready to give up on Julius Randle just yet. He's 22 years old and missed an entire year of development with a broken leg.

If Randle makes a nice improvement this year and we miss on a second star to pair with PG, I would not be against extending him.

I agree, that's why I was confused about focusing on pairing him with George if they are both numbers 2's.

We were talking about Ingram and Lonzo panning out quickly before that.

I agree that George/Klay as your #1/#2 guys aren't a really scary duo in terms of thinking of a title team.

If Lonzo/Ingram fulfill their potential that's a scary team possibly. This is all for naught if they turn to out to be average NBA starters or worse

I think your assessment of PHX is off. Sure, PHX would love to get rid of Knight's contract, but Woj has reported PHX was actually willing to take on more bad contracts in exchange for picks/young talent.

Also, Bledsoe definitely has value. He stayed healthy all year and put up 21, 6 and 5. Good luck finding a PG who can do that with a contract as friendly as his with 2 years remaining at about 15 per.

66 games. 97 the last 2 years. Not the standard for healthy.

Phoenix is willing to take on bad contracts for picks. But the problem is, new york wants youth and picks or talent. Who gets what, because new york doesn't want knight and Phoenix wants an arse ton for Bledsoe.

ITS WHY DANGELO RUSSELL SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN TRADED IN A frickING SALARY DUMP

D'Angelo, D'Angelo. Wherefore art thou D'angelo? Over / under the number years a minority of Lakers fan whine over Russell.

Come back if Lonzo is a complete bust and /or the Lakers continue to swing & miss in free agency. Otherwise this was a good trade getting rid of one of the worst contracts in the League( along with Deng) & a better big in Lopez.

I don't blame him. He's older, gotta get the money when you can. Chances are that the Spurs weren't going to win a championship this season anyway.

That's the Magic in general. If there wasn't the dunk contest, I would've forgotten Aaron Gordon existed

Rondo to the Pels on a one year deal. I like the move if good Rondo shows up.

Allows Holiday to play off the ball which I think will give the Pels that outside shooter they need

ESPN is trying to better monetize Woj, but they are completely ruining his greatness in the process.

I also straight up still believe that agents and execs are talking to him less now that he's at ESPN.
