Except lsu trash isn't a biohazard

It's far easier from an event planning standpoint to clean up the trash after instead of trying to supply and maintain trashcans or dumpsters. This is pretty normal
I hate this attitude, and I hope it isn't "normal". So basically, you are saying that if I am an attendee- I would have to endure all the filth and litter because nothing is going to be done about it until the event is over. and a lot of people may have your attitude that " it's all going to be cleaned up later", so they may not feel there's a need to exhibit any type of decorum with regards to their trash and litter. In the meantime, the litter tends to defile the aura and ambience of the event for a lot of people.
I have kids and I attend a lot of their youth sporting events. Quite often, some facilities have the same mindset that, "we will clean up after everyone leaves the event". So meanwhile, I am sitting next to spilled containers of nacho cheese, trash at my feet, empty drink bottles everywhere. Thats not a pleasant atmosphere for most people.

Pretty bad, but not as bad as the parking lot after a Kenny Chesney concert.

Oh, wait, you think I'm a liberal.
I didn't say you...I said the left, did I not? If you can't read, then go somewhere else.
If you are not liberal, then I wasn't talking about you. Read my quote that you quoted... one. more. time. It plainly says "...the left..." does it not?
quote:If you can't even read your own quote, then go somewhere else.
You lecture us on
quote:If you'd ever been to one, you'd know.
Don't be so obtuse. This thread had nothing whatsoever to do with any of that. It was a chance to show yet again how juvenile this board can be...and yet again, it succeeded. Kudos for that.
yet you said this:
It's just a damn shame that on a LSU message board, none of you have ever been to Tiger Stadium for a football game on Saturday night.
What did this thread have to do with a LSU football game?
quote:If they are intelligent they'd vote neither. The fake news media would have you believe they are all liberals. So it must be true. Am I doing it right?
Oh, and here's a hint: Gay people are conservative as well as liberal.
Yes they are. Now let me ask you this....are they overwhelmingly conservative, or liberal? Do they typically vote GOP or DEM?
Posted on 6/28/17 at 8:09 am to weagle99
OMG I can't believe they littered! Have you ever been to any parade anywhere?

Taken out of context, you are right. but when you put it into context, I was talking about the left. But then you knew that. Again, you are being slow on the uptake...or are you really this slow? maybe you are not being obtuse, and you really do not understand how to connect thoughts and ideas? If so, then my apologies.
quote:
If you'd ever been to one, you'd know.
Thing is...I have been to one. But I didn't stick around after the game to see the left over trash. however, LSU fans typically don't lecture me on being environmentally friendly then leave a huge mess around.
Liberals on the other hand....

So, you think Gays are conservative, huh? Ok.
I am beginning to see where your thought processes come from.

I will say this about the OP picture, though...
It looks as if cleanup had already begun. Note the plastic bags of trash sitting on the sidewalk. the way the trash is in the picture it almost appears as if it was swept/pushed off the sidewalk in an effort o get it close together for a more thorough clean up, making it look worse than it actually was. but that is just a guess on my part.

Again, you are being slow on the uptake

that looks like the aftermath of
every parade ever
every large concert ever
every large sporting event ever
every outdoor event that had tens of thousands of people attend ever
So what's your point.

Both DEMs and republicans are guilty of pandering to people that has made gay people single issue voters.

Are you denying that you took it out of context?
You have to understand the entire context...but here you are again, Mr. Obtuse. Surely you understand simple syntax and thought processes.
quote:
I apologize for reading what you write rather than mind-reading what you mean.
So now you are saying you can't understand? I believe you.
quote:
Ah, left at halftime. I should have known.
No actually, I was raised a LSU fan and was born in Baton Rouge. But this was many, many, MANY years ago.
More to your point, though, I stayed for the entire game, but once it was over I left. I did not wait until everybody else left so I could inspect the trash.
quote:
It's called intelligence.
Thinking that most gays are conservative is called intelligence? ok. I'll buy that considering there are all sorts of levels of intelligence. And if you think most gays are conservative, then I think we know what level of intelligence you are on.
But don't take my word for it...lets take a look at a Gallup Poll:
PRINCETON, NJ -- Americans who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender remain significantly more likely than non-LGBT Americans to identify as Democrats. More than six in 10 LGBT Americans identify as Democrats or are Democratic-leaning independents, while 21% identify with or lean toward the Republican Party.
More than 60% identify as Democrat while 21% identify as Republican. Seems we know where your intelligence lies and who has been listening to Fake News.
Fake News?

So all gatherings of 500k people or so don't result in this? Did the City of Houston and the Pride organizers have trash cans placed everywhere. Because they do in Atlanta and NYC and there is never anything like this.
