WDSU showed additional footage of this assault and its even scarier than the footage with the guy in the coma to be honest.
Watching the criminal quietly sneak up on this guy in anticipation of the assault is spooky.

I've always read these posts and thought to myself that people are just being dramatic, and maybe need to go outside more.
But now I have my doubts. The 'safer' spots aren't really that anymore. If they can't even keep the French Quarter somewhat safe, there really is no hope for NOLA.

throughout most of college my plan was to live there after graduating, but the last few years of have completely changed my mind.

This thread is full of vagina. The only reason why these dog shitting NOLA threads pop up is because a bunch of conservative white guys are butt hurt over confederate monuments being taken down. These recent attacks are horrible in all but it's not like this kind of behavior is new to the city.

This attitude is why this behavior still exist. Most people don't want to live in the Wild West. We should have evolved out of that a long time ago. There is a large segment of society that is not evolving. We need to cut the cord.

no doubt, but the uproar on TD is due to the monuments being taken down but the democrat mayor. Everyone knows NOLA has always had it's issue with crime.
Do you all realize just this past week alone with had a 15k participant HR management convention in town followed by a nursing convention about the same size. These conventions go on weekly throughout the year. People will not quit visiting like many of you want.
