As it currently stands, this healthcare bill is very much like obamaCare...which makes it hilarious when liberals bash it.

They sincerely need to start from scratch and stop trying to keep all the ObamaCare garbage in it.

It's sad that libs don't know the difference between confiscatory taxation and voluntary giving.

Addicts end up in the ER without insurance and don't pay the bill.

This will make everyone's hospital bill go up.

Cover it or don't we pay in the end.

Opiod addicts will not be covered under TrumpCare. This does not bother me in the least. Am I "mean" to have this thought?
a huge number of people wouldnt even be on opioids if they could use marijuana for pain management, but the government demands they use opioids instead.

from 1991 to 2011 the US went from 76 million prescriptions for oxy and hydrocodone every year to 219 million.

herion is an opioid, and prescription opioids work the same way. these are the most additive drugs by a very wide margin.

so people get prescribed opioids, and then they get addicted (like rush limbaugh), and then the government just acts like they had no part in this.

91 people die every day from opioid overdoses.

no one has ever died from a THC overdose. its essentially not possible. you'd have to ingest roughly 1,500 pounds in 15 minutes to overdose.

and will TrumpCare dump rehab for alcoholics as well? because thats covered under the ACA.

and yet again, here is something that's legal which is infinitely worse than the thing that is illegal.

the mortality risk associated with alcohol is is 114 times higher than it is for marijuana.

the CDC says that more than 30,000 people die in the US due to the "health effects of alcohol", and that is NOT including accidents or drunk driving.

the CDC doesnt even have a category for deaths due to the health effects of marijuana. because theres never been one.

so to answer your question, yes. youre a piece of shite.

In the meantime, opium cultivation is at an all time high in Afghanistan.... and y'all thought the US Army Corps of Engineers built 19 dams over there because the natives were thirsty. HaHa.... Big Pharma Baby! hand in hand with Uncle Sam.

Many cancer pts. end up opioid addicts too. One of the saddest experiences I ever saw was a typical suburban housewife brought into ER by kids and husband. She was begging morphine, literally begging. She was stage 4 cancer and her pain management had her more hooked and strung out than any street junkie that I ever saw in that ER over 10 years.

Had a headcase professor in a pre med course that classified all people dependent on any drug/chemical for life as drug addicts. Everyone from high BP to Diabetics to schizoids to hormone replacement types. All were addicts to him the same as junkies and alchy's.

So why stop at junkies and addicts of only the illegal drugs? Make all drug dependencies fall under the heading "let nature run it's course". That'll surely lower insurance costs for the rest of us!

Correct. They bought the ability to influence legislation years ago. They have also bought medical education. Drs today are programmed to prescribe. 70 lbs overweight with high BP? Here's a pill and maybe a little snarky comment about losing weight. No in depth assessment and education. Here's your rx now I gotta go see the next one. Sad because you lost a loved one? Here's a pill. Just take it. No recommendations for therapy to work through the grief.

Addicted to the pain medication that I prescribed you with educating you on the warning signs of dependency? Here's a pill called buprenorphine (which the Surgeon General encouraged me to prescribe). It will keep you from withdrawing so you don't feel dope sick. Take it for the rest of your life. Who cares if you wake up every single day stuck in your life.

Who said that? Why do you people think that the only entity that can do a thing is the government and that if the government doesn't do it it can't be done? You people worship the government

I am by no means a liberals sympathizer, but the Republicans that came up with this POS bill need their asses kicked. Yea, I know it's not a finished product but it's bad as a basis.

It's clear to me that on both sides of the isle, the Healthcare bill/debate has nothing to do with "Healthcare" of people.

It's sole purpose of to funnel money into the insurance companies executives pockets.

What other explanation is there for every bill resulting in MORE money into the insurances companies, and LESS money the insurances companies pay out to the insured.

Premiums rising, Deductibles rising, coverage declining. What a giant shite show.

I didn't realize that diabetics and opioids addicts were similar in any way. Do you consider patients with cancer, Alzheimer's and other diseases the same?
