Saving throw. Millennials don't go to smoking bars. Those with money anyway.

It is beyond common sense that this needs to pass, not just vut everywhere.

The market will get rid of 99 percent of smoking bars eventually, we don't need the government telling businesses what it's consumers want. Let the market decide that.

Going to a private business is not a right. So don't give me any shite about "I have the right to go to a bar without smelling smoke". Because that's a load of horse shite

Also I've never smoked and don't like smell of it, but I can choose to go to bars that don't allow smoking just as easily as smokers can choose to go to bars that do allow smoking

Good, second hand smoke is bullshite. Should not have to breath it or be subjected to not going someplace due to smokers.

I don't know why people get so up in arms over this.

Other cities all over the U.S. have enacted smoking bans in bars YEARS ago...and the bars are still open and thriving.

Nice, I believe Lafayette joined the 20th century a month or so ago.

Good. Smokers are the stupidest, trashiest, most inconsiderate people on earth. They can pump toxins into their lungs on their own property

I'm missing part of a lung and smoke really fricks me up.

That being said, screw the government taking the rights of business owners.

Awesome. Private businesses getting told what to do pertaining to a legal activity in their own business. Limited government south FTW

We can't let the market dictate whether a ban is a smart decision on prohibiting smoking in their own establishment.

I've never smoked and if I want to avoid being around it I simply won't go to those bars that allow it. It's amazingly easy to avoid it without government's help.
