in retrospect, it was the only hope that they had. in reality, even if it were overturned, it may not have meant anything at all.

Sportscenter said it would have been a 3 run HR, so pretty bad

Was it challengeable? They seemed to say initially that it wasn't and I've only heard personalities say it could have been challenged. Regardless, huge coaching mistake to leave it to be this questionable.

I'd tank it right there with not pulling out while banging a slump buster

Pac 12 did not use replay system this year so the Oregon State coach was not in the "mindset" to do so. Still, bad move on his part.

But crap happens. OSU had plenty of other chances. The pressure killed them.

Between that and not starting Rasmussen, Casey choked big time in Omaha.

Oh well. Thanks for the wins, stupid.

Horrible decision not to ask. Will haunt him all year.

If overturned it would have been one run scored with runners at 2nd and 3rd. So you don't know how that would have affected final outcome.

2nd bad decision was not starting RassMunchkin.

Although I think we win today regardless of who he starts.

Pivotal. Momentum change on that play.
