It's been 3 years since I've seen the movie but let me see how many of these I can remember.

The big one, first and foremost is Batman escaping a nuclear blast w/ less then a minute left in the middle of the ocean.

Sending an entire police force underground for 1 guy? Probably one of you dopes running the police force there. Then to top that off, they stay down there for months? Lmao

They spent how long in the movie fortifying Gotham to make sure no one got in and Bruce Wayne with no money, no help, just pops up on the island "because he's Batman"?

JGL knows Bruce Wayne is Batman because.... they're both orphans? No nothing, he just has a hunch. Give me a goddamn break.

Batman is the ultimate strategist, there's no move he doesn't make that he doesn't think on or consider the consequences. So the first fight he has w/ Bane, Bane kicks his arse, he's too strong, darkness doesn't phase him, so on and so forth. Well for the second fight outside City Hall, Batman..... goes fist to fist with him again? And the only reason he wins is because he lands a lucky shot to his mask.

Bane breaks his spine and he recovers because some chiropractor in this hole in the ground punches him in the back and voila? He's cured?

The CIA being lazy and unprofessional as all hell in the opening, yeah no just load these masked prisoners on my plane. We don't need to see who they are or anything.

The mayor is attending a public football game and Bane just walks right out onto the field, no nothing, no security, no one to maybe think, "Hey, this masked terrorist is just waltzing on the field, cool".

JGL shoots a bad guy and instantly throws his gun away, he's a cop, what exactly does he think guns do? I get that he's upset w/ himself but it was a baddie who was trying to kill him. I'm not even gonna get into a cop tossing his sidearm away and just leaving it for someone to find.

Do I need to go on?

This is a good litmus test for pure batshit insanity and blasphemy as a movie critic.

Sorry you can't appreciate a good movie when you see one.

Sorry you can't take Nolan's dick out your mouth long enough to realize when he makes a bad movie. Which btw, I'm like 99% sure he admitted that he was very unhappy with the final product himself.

If you want. But the vast majority of your criticisms are nitpicks, so whatever. I can easily do the same thing for Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.

How in the name of god are those nitpicks? Please explain to me how outrunning a nuclear blast in under a minute is a "nitpick".

Since we're talking about Nolan, does anyone think he'll direct the next Bond movie or is that just a rumor?

I think there's a good chance. It depends on how much new material he has in the tank, as I think that would take precedence over joining a franchise even for a movie or two. I think he's more attracted to new material and usually very good with it.

I'd be slightly worried that he'd attempt to do the same thing he did with Batman.... try to disconnect it from its source material. That worked for Bats, not sure it would work for Bond. There's a reason after 23 films why people still go see James Bond movies. Bond movies are even more formulaic than Batman, and you can't just do something like that just to do it. You need to have a purpose.

Well, for one, you have no idea when he ejected. You just assume that he ejected right before the blast. You also have to keep in mind that this is a freaking movie and that none of it could ever happen in real life.

Kind of like that microwave emitter in Batman Begins. In theory, everyone should have died when that thing was turned on because our bodies are made up entirely of water. But you know what? It's a freaking movie! I was able to look past that egregious error in logic because the story was engaging.

It's not important how Batman survived the explosion. The important thing is that he survived. To ask how he survived in this context is nothing more than a nitpick.

TDKR is my litmus test to determine if someone is an idiot at formulating movie opinions.

IF LIKE TDRK THEN
SET idiot = TRUE
ELSE
SET idiot = FALSE
END IF

You are quite the pretentious prick. And I don't need a litmus test to tell me that.
