MaryKay lady out of the blue a week or so ago just walks up to my wife and says "oh my gosh, you have such a pretty face! Would you be willing to come be a facial model for me at a party?" Patronizing bull shite. My wife is fat and ugly as sin and everyone knows it.

What baffles me is to listen to them talk about how much they make and all the trips they take and wonder what they gals under them think when it's their efforts that are allowing the others to live high.

This has gotten absurd. It Works! (Probably couldn't come up with a more pyramid scheme sounding name if I tried), R&F, and now Monat (Shampoo brand that just popped up).
I really don't understand how people continue to get sucked into these things. Male friend asked me to join some kind of online advertising company. Wouldn't go over details unless i went to meet with him and the person that got him to join. Have gotten hit up by 3 different guys in different circles for the same thing. Even if its legit money, an extra $1000 a month isn't worth alienating all my friends and family because they think I'm going to harass them every time we see each other/speak.

R+F is making the rounds in my nighborhood/facebook friends...Good lord, It's like they don't realize that their life has become a commercial. Do they truly not understand that a small town can't support that many people selling the same product?

I have a FB friend that is BOTH a realtor and MLM schemer.
My in-laws are $80k millionaires. They make enough money to do alright, but they spend every penny. They are easily schemed and have been involved in several MLM companies over the years.
When my wife brought me home to meet her parents when we were in college, I got hit up to join some MLM scam. That's how into it they are.
Anyway, it has been a point of contention in our relationship over the years. I finally called them out and said "Your relationship with myself, your daughter and your grandchildren cannot be dependent on whether we join your scams." I pointed out that they continually lose money in these things and have no retirement savings whatsoever. It was a big blow up and I thought it was worth it because I would never hear MLM again.
A week later - what do you think about this German company that is just now getting into the USA. Its going to be big! We can get it on the ground level.
It boggles my mind how one can be so stupid.

I like how they continuously get "promotions" to Executive Consultant or some other made up position. The real salesman are the people that created the companies. I remember the couple that started the IT WORKS thing bought an island a couple years ago.

Is that the oil you put in a diffuser? If so, I believe in the lavender. It makes me calm and is awesome to fall asleep to.
