Wife and I are going to have our first kid this summer and it's a boy.
Let's hear your best advice on how to raise a young man in this day and age.

This should be good.

Lucky you only have to worry about one pecker rather than all the peckers out there. Pending if he's gay or not.

Don't be afraid to spank him if he does stupid shite

Boys are rough as toddlers. Many times boys tend to be more colicky infants than girls and take longer to potty train also, in general. Boys will tear up your shite. I've got 2 boys and 2 girls. I've never had to spank the girls, I've damn near broken my hand on my boys though. They get fun around 5-6 though, aside from asking the same damn questions over and over and over, all day long. Be careful when changing a diaper on a boy and remember they will aim it at you and release the urine right as you open the diaper.

Take pictures of him in just his underwear and then show him when he gets older and laugh at him

Don't let him grow up to be SJW.

Raise him to be an alpha, not some sjw omega.

Best advice I can give you...... You are not raising a boy, you are TRAINING a MAN.
Remember that in all you do and you will be fine.

My advice for parenting? frick everyone else's advice. Use your parental instincts. If your parents didn't fail raising you then you be fine. It's impossible to prepare for bringing a kid home. It'll change every single aspect of your life.
Babies are smarter than you think. They will learn games. Like throw the stuffed animal until you pick it up. Don't play them.

good in theory, not sure how you would raise a kid in this climate today truthfully. It is absolutely bonkers, it is like bizarro world out there.

Feed it and change diapers

as the father of 4 boys....my advice is to have fun with them. All 4 of ours are completely different in their likes and personalities. I see so many dads that try and make their boys into something they are not. Let them grow up and have fun being a little boy.
Wise older lady once told me:
If you plant an apple seed, you are going to get an apple tree. No matter how hard you try it will never be an orange or pear tree. So groom it and raise it to be the best apple tree that it can be.

Boys are easier than girls for sure. My best advice...keep them away from TV, tablets and smartphones as much as you can. It's difficult because when you turn a kids show on, they become hypnotized (and quiet) and it will give you a break. We just had twin boys (#3 and 4) and we are planning on making them play outside as much as possible.

No TV. Minimal sugar.

We named ours. You probably should too. It makes it easier when you want to tell them something.

Don't hover. Let your kids make mistakes as long is it won't permanently damage them. People learn from mistakes.

You see so many nowadays that are just zombies on their phones. That's something I worry about.
