I've been once in the last three or so, but it was a very different crowd than normal, and from my friend's still at SLU I've heard that there are tons of fights there on Thursdays and Saturdays and that a lot of people have stopped going because of all the crap.

Brady's had a kick-arse grilled chicken tenders salad.

When I was in a healthy mood.

I worked a Hammond Square Mall retail gig and it suuuuuuccked.

We would throw the football with the athletic shop across the mall.

People would steal Girbaud jeans from us and we didn't care.

Good times.

I don't know how that place stayed open even back then.

The Chronic had just dropped, and we would blast it over the store speakers. No shoppers there to complain.

Basically when the Buzz closed all the Buzz trash moved to the Brown Door. Very different crowd than even 4-5 years ago. The Crescent, Brady's, and Cate Street kind of took over. Though Cate Street is going back down and Brady's crowds are dying down.

I would go back after I x-ferred to LSU. and party in Hammond alot.

I ran up a $300 phone bill at this chick's apt. She was dialing a BTR access number for AOL (dumbass) and South Park "Spirit of Christmas" took like 4hrs to download.
Whoops. Sorry.

Good God that was 1995.

Late '80's - early '90's. Stray Cats, Beach Club, Brown Door, Crescent, Augustine's, Robert E. Lee's, and a very brief run by a place right off campus by the old movie theater called The Library.

Lived in DOHA and walked home drunk as shite the back way a few nights from Stray Cats.

Daiquiris on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons to warm up.

There was a stretch when the Beach Club had no cover from 8-9, free drinks all night. You could literally go out and get completely wasted without it costing you a dime. I think it was on Thursday, too.

Holy Hell man, that was the ghetto back in 92. I lived in that shite hole for 1 semester.

Or was that DOHA II. The one thru the graveyard from the old main campus entrance.

Yep. We never had any problems when I lived there. Must not have been ghetto yet.

Daiquiri's could get busy on a Thursday or Friday

Rainbow Daiqurirs at the end of town was hit or miss

Would make the walk from Starz to the Brown Door to Augustine's too see what was up.

Went into the Central Flyway once but was wasted and can't remember it.

Has anyone mentioned Benny's?

Sam's Package liquor for the drive thru and video poker.

Classics for some familiar faces post-graduation.

A laid back Sunday for me was 2 for 1 Bloody Mary's at Cuco's and closing the night out at Mariner's.

Junior's and The Hut for the older, older crowd.
