BATON ROUGE - A Southern University student wanted in a campus rape participated in graduation ceremonies Friday.

Southern University police got a warrant Wednesday for Clayton Bossier on a count of third-degree rape.

The warrant says that Bossier offered a woman his dorm room as a place to sleep after she complained about her roommate’s snoring. He told her he would leave the door unlocked for her. She and a friend went to the dorm room. The friend left before the woman went to sleep.

The woman said Bossier returned to his room between 1 and 2 a.m., got into the bed and laid beside her. She said Bossier pulled her close to him and began touching her.

"The victim said that she did not have a problem with that," the warrant says.

The woman told investigators that Bossier then began to perform sex acts on her without her consent. She said she told him to stop 10 to 15 times, but he did not, the warrant says.
