Vans still make shoes?
They were over priced back in the late 80's

Worry about others? Mind your own business.
Worry about yourself? Wear Vans if they are comfortable for you.

Depends on what style.... but I'd say 30s is the hard line. If we're drawing hard lines.

why do you gaf? Just wear what you want and feel comfortable with. If you own it, it doesn't matter what you wear. If you're self-conscious, it doesn't matter what you wear.

I wear them as my main tennis shoe. I'm about to be 29.

I just don't get these responses on a forum. The whole point of this board is for shite like this. I mean, why should we worry about anything, right? Work and school dress codes are just bullshite with no purpose, huh? Same with public laws regarding indecency, just a bunch of complainers, huh?

i was bought a pair by one of my parents during the late 80's. They were super uncomfortable. As bad as wearing wrestling shoes as shoes.

Vans make great lace ups. I'm 45 and have two pair.
Checkerboard slip ons? 12.

I'd say around college years, definitely not after college.
I've never worn them and think maybe after high school those who do, should stop. But, at least around early college years.
However, to each his own. Won't bother me either way.

I'm in my 50s and still wear the lace-ups & cruise around on a longboard occasionally. Why do you GAF?
