As of right now, the anatomically-correct child sex dolls are primarily female, and have been shipped to clients around the world. The idea behind it, according to Takagi, is that it will give pedophiles a way to “express their desires, legally and ethically.”
They should be rigged with explosives.
Anyone who even thinks about sex with a small child should be killed with a hammer in the street

Just send the mailing lists to the authorities to track those that purchased them.

If it keeps them from attacking kids then I guess its work it, but this is just sick. I honestly believe anyone who has a trait in them that makes them attracted to young kids should be killed.
If someone kills another human over something drug related, I don't really consider them a threat to the general public. They were doing what they had to do "in the game". They obviously should be punished, but I am just comparing it to how I see pedophiles.
They target vulnerable, innocent children. It might be something they can't really control, but there is nothing that can be done to where... if they are put back on the streets, that wouldn't put children in the area at a higher risk of being attacked.
Just the thought of it all is sick AF.

I know, on this board, you would get roasted for not posting pics but I would have been just fine with it if you hadn't this time.

I see what you are saying but since the doll isn't alive, wouldn't that component be canceled out bc thr doll can't be assaulted or put up a resistance.
I mean child molestors can get castrated but they can still manipulate children and still sexually assault them.
I agree the attraction is children but control and manipulation has to be a factor to some degree?

I think porn makes creeps even creepier. And I think these dolls will have a similar effect.

I know a lot of men who own a love doll and they are neither pervert nor maniac. In fact, they are saner than most men you will ever meet on the street.
These super sane, non-perverted gentlemen that you know just openly share with you that they have a frick doll? How does this conversation come up?
I think you're probably really, really bad at judging character. I also think that I most likely fed a troll with this post.
ETA: Just noticed your username and post count. Definitely a troll/alter. You had me for a sec though.

I don't like the idea that this is just a private company that's doing this. The core concept is extremely viable, but it needs to be administered in a controlled, scientific double blind format, preferably by a university.
You have a hypothesis, you find test subjects interested (anonymous if need be), and then administer the experiment, and track the results. What % of subjects made their urges more easy to cope with, what percentage made it harder to cope with, and what percentage actually ended up acting on those urges (compared to baseline rates).
Once you have the fricking answer to the hypothesis, you have a policy prescription that may substantially lower child molestation and/or abduction rates, for the entire future. That outweighs any short term human or financial cost to the experiment by a virtually infinite margin.
And this is another example of the long term solution being prohibited by politicians only worried about get fricking reelected. This is why we need to way to separate moral and technical policy within government. If you handed this problem to a group of data scientists they would have an answer back in 8 years or less. But since it has to go through the political process, it'll probably never get done.

That's not creepy at all.
Question.
If it is proven to be a brain anomaly, will they get rights like transgendered?
I'm sorry, but even though I lean left, I feel that action opened Pandora's box.
