didn't even know we had Liberty Monument or who the hell Pt Beauregard was other than a guy on a horse in front of NOMA.

So you are outwardly bragging about being an ignorant person?

This dude can't speak in real words, no way he got into Tulane, and if he did it isn't some prestigious university anymore.

He just openly bragged about not knowing who the guy was that fired the first shots that started our Nations civil war

That same guy also invented the cables for the famous NOLA street cars

Mitch's assistant seems like a huge douche. He was talking to the Representative questioning him like a two year old.

Out of the four that talked the only one that sounded somewhat intelligent was the girl that worked for the SPLC.

The one who said he refused to read Lee's biography and educate himself? I wonder why he struggled to articulate a position...

Holy shite is this dude snap chatting while testifying?!

This is completely accurate. Blacks care very little about social issues as long as the checks are in the mail box on the first of the month.

The Tulane guy couldn't even pronounce succession correctly. He must be quite the expert.

Rep Marcelle and Glover are both complete morons... Not to mention Barbara Norton. This is such a disgrace that they represent anyone in LA.

I'm surprised the historical society hasn't stepped in and tried to block the monuments removal. Maybe they have, but I am just now aware?

Passing Committee is just the first of many hurdles this bill will face. But great first big step.

Several preservationists groups sued but all claims were thrown out. Legislation is the only way forward for a long term solution.
