Interesting. Would that invalidate all other coins too?

Looking at past big picture cycles it appears that we'll see a major bull run and likely ATH around this time in 2025 (roughly 18 months post-halvening). In the past, about a year after THAT (so in this case, winter of 2026) it's gone through a major bear cycle and dropped down quite a bit....do we think the same trend will hold?
I ask because I'm definitely not a big timer like ILB so plan to sell all of my BTC around December 2025 and enjoy the profits, but I of course don't want to be done with BTC forever at that point. I'd like to start the buying process over again but am curious if there would be a good time to re-enter after selling.

The cycle will continue to happen until it doesn't. No one knows

My friend. Do not trade Bitcoin. Buy what you are comfortable holding for 10-20 years depending on your age.
I've been in Bitcoin since late 2016/2017 and bought it as a complete degenerate. I bought it because I was at dinner with some extremely successful young guys and one of the guys at the table started telling his how it was the future and explained it perfectly.
I only wanted more cash at so I bought a lot (for me at the time) and planned on selling when I 5xed my money.
Then the crash came and I forgot about even owning it. About a year later, I started learning more about Bitcoin on twitter which lead me to buy a book that changed my life, The Bitcoin Standard.
After reading that book, I became OBSESSED. I was (and still am) the annoying guy who is always trying to educate friends and family about the importance of Bitcoin.
The goal is not to have more dollars. The goal is always to have more Bitcoin.
All fiat currencies go to zero. ALL OF THEM. There has never been a successful currency that the government was in control of.
I may sell off 10% of my stack when I can trade it for an ocean front property in Costa Rica or a similar property but NEVER so I can have more dollars.

Is “Insider Trading” condoned in Crypto trading? If not, who polices it?

I fully agree with you. I started buying crypto back in 2017, and have never looked back. I have everything I own in it. This includes my IRA's and any spare funds I have has gone into it. Of course I do have rental properties, etc as a back up, but I've even considered selling all of that to put in it at times. My wife keeps me in check on that. The only mistakes I have made through the years have been trying to time the market to make a few extra bucks.
I'd say it has worked so far. Far better than I would have done just following some index fund. It has not been an easy road for sure, but when you step back and look at bitcoin's price chart for the last 15 years, I'd say I made a pretty good decision years ago. Between hodling, taking some profits here and there, DCAing during bear markets, and running bots 24/7, I believe the next 5-10 years will pay off nicely.

It’s par for the course in shitcoin land. Some hands get slapped but considering there aren’t really regulations (security or not Gary…?) then what rules are to even be applied.
Bitcoin is preprogrammed money and nothing to “trade” except sentiment. Nobody is airdropping their buddies or suprise releasing a block to dilute etc.
So, yes?

Bro I really hope you had at least mid five figures in these plays and have made some live changing money.
Don’t be afraid to take some risk off the table.
Well done. Love seeing these wins.

I wish I knew why people pay $75 a share for GLink the Chainlink trust when it’s not even a full link token…

Definitely didn’t go that balls deep but I did have 5 figs in at the start and have made enough to drastically fast forward some major life projects

Any of you guys have any history with Blockbank? Just looking for a little alpha, they issued a new token called Fideum and best I can tell they basically did a 10:1 reverse split for previous Blockbank holders. They have a partnership with Mastercard (only available in EU for now) and supposedly a lot in the pipeline to announce in the coming months. I threw $7500 at it and up close to 50% so far. Trying to figure out my hold strategy here lol

Looking forward to seeing at least one, and preferably all of the Spot Bitcoin ETFs approved by January 10th. Even if there is a sell the news event, I'll be breaking out the champagne because that will be short lived and Spot ETF approval plus the halving almost assures a significant parabolic run is in store in 2024. Throw in some interest rate cuts and the rocket engines are even stronger in 2024. Also toss in more countries getting into the FOMO action. Recent positive Bitcoin news from Argentina, France, Hong Kong and Russia in the last 10 days makes me believe the international FOMO is just starting to get cranked up.

No etf might be the reason we pullback into the mid 30's soon.
She is going to make a decision soon.

Yeah no ETF would mean a good hair cut in the short term. I've seen stuff like this happen since 2016. I have ice in my veins so I won't even flinch if that happens. The SEC can't stop Bitcoin from going up in 2024 no matter what they do. Hopefully they do the right thing and at least approve 1 Spot ETF.
