I'm not a hater, but I'm kind of hoping that the solana money comes flying back to eth and eth L2s.

You and me both. The majority of my bag is ETH as far as dollars invested. Sol just dropped so hard because of ftx that it's just now getting back to where it really should have been compared to everything else. My opinion anyways.

Is anyone in this group worried about recession fears? There is 100% track record of a recession following a Fed pivot to monetary easing. 100%!! I don't know about yall, but I'm thinking this is how Black Rock, etc. plans on buying bitcoin on the cheap. I'm sure they have been buying for years, but this could really open the door for them to accumulate bitcoin like crazy at a fraction of the cost.

Maybe I'm over thinking this, but I have been burned so many times in the past when everybody is screaming that we are going to the moon, and then reality hits. I've started unstaking my crypto just in case this thing turns south. Will be interested to see what this weeks Bitcoin weekly candle ends up at. If It's lower than the previous week, then we may be headed down.

Just my 2 cents. Ya'll have a Merry Christmas!

I'm not worried in the least about Black Rock buying up BTC.

Bitcoin will crash and reach new highs over and over but we have a halfening and ETF in the next few months.

My money is on a double from here by Christmas 2025.

Why would Blackrock want the price to crash in 2024 AFTER their ETF has launched? Their product is the ETF. They don't care what bitcoin price does so as long as people are buying their ETF and they are making the fees. Blackrock has minimal pricing exposure to bitcoin other than the initial seed money. This statement changes if Blackrock wants to get in the game of owning bitcoin though.

Nice investment. Good timing too just before the SEC likely decision to approve multiple Spot ETFs

Also, your Christmas present that you may not have opened yet is this morning's news that the large bank in China (in Hong Kong) called ZA Bank has basically disclosed that it is working on Bitcoin exchange services. It's customer base will be able to buy and sell Bitcoin.

Unfortunately my business prints the fake money so I have to quickly convert it into real assets before the rest of the world finds out.

Highly likely. I’d argue this is even a very conservative estimate.

Now, imagine how parabolic we are going in the next phase.

That is when 1 by 1, nations add it to the balance sheet.

All one has to do is study game theory for an hour to see how this all plays out.

3-5 years after the ETF

While I agree I saw multiple articles today from people in the crypto industry that brought up interesting points that the ETF could have a long term negative impact on BTC

Why?

I just bought some bitcoin and it promplty dropped.

Also added 4k in cash somehow from my checking account that I can't annoyingly put back into my checking until the 4th. Account on hold or something.

I don’t know what to believe but I have seen several articles from different people in the industry that believe this could happen. LINK

It makes sense but I see both sides
