Two sincere suggestions, if I may:
1. Option to expand thread view from a minimum of 20 posts. Prefer an ALL option.
2. If no thread post expansion can be done, add a small post number for each reply. This allows users like me - who do not like to post on the 7/8/9's - to see the post count within the thread.

The ad being on the right side of the page is what bothered me. Like what When in Rome was saying it's annoying being on that side because it's the last thing you see as you read left to right. You can kind of ignore them when they're on the left side. But Chicken is trying to make the ads on TD even more prominent than he's already made them and screwing up a good site layout.

I like the trending button, having multiple boards up at a time. I think I prefer the boards on the side, so if you go with that setup and put the boards on the right, I can dig it. I like the current setup just fine, though. Easy to navigate.

The purple column on the left is much better, oh great one. The new site would be great with that one change. That's why I didn't like it. It's such an in your face change.

I like the clean look and improved functionality. after a bit, I decided to switch back to the old familiar version though. looks like a great layout that I will like a lot after a short time.

This may be too advanced or complicated. But a "suggestions" button that would put suggested topics based off of post history at the top would be awesome
