Had my first roto rooter today. I had heard from others about the knock out drug they give you and how quick it works. So I was kind of curious about the experience leading up to it. So my dialogue went as such:
Med staff: Ok, gonna give you your medicine now. You will feel it shortly.
Me: Is this goin to be like time travel?(I had heard when it goes black it's like a switch flips and the lights are back on but its 45 mins later)
Med staff: Yeah I guess it kinda will.
Me: This stuff woorreeksss fffassssttttt...... (Vision faded out)
Awake immediately afterwards to a puddle of drool in a different room 45 mins later. It was a surreal experience. That and my butt hurt when I woke up? Oh well doc said i looked great!
Anyone else have any time travel experiences?

"you're gonna have a lot of gas, and you can't leave until it is gone....so pull your knees up to your chest and let it fly"
Never thought I would hear such a thing come out of the mouth of a shockingly beautiful blonde nurse.

Funny that u say that, I had taken my brother years ago and he gassed foe 25 mins afterwards. I never once gassed. But I asked them to leave my wife in he waiting room instead of bringing her back so I may have slept through the gas?

Yep very warm feeling all over me then BOOM I'm waking up to my wife and Doc talking to me. Crazy. Mine was all good. Glad yours was too.

My experience was very similar. Except my butt hole didn't hurt. I had two polyps taken off somy gut was tender for about 5 days.
No gas at all.
No gas at all.

I have had three over the years. On the second one, I was very worried that the doctor and his staff had forgotten to put me out. That was the last thought I had before being told by a nurse that I should follow her to another room so that the doctor could tell me the results. The third I remember being told, "we are about to give you something", then I went out.
I don't remember being told to fart. Don't remember farting at all. But, oddly enough, I don't remember putting back on the clothes that I taken off prior to the test. Somehow, my shoes got tied, too.
No butt hurt nor discomfort of any kind on any of the three.
Yeah, I guess you could call that time travel.

I'm scheduled for Tuesday, have one every two years. I have had pre-cancerous polyps removed. Colon cancer deaths on both sides of my family.

Because of this post I won't have the test done. I'm gonna die now so send money to stinkdawggoldholdings@suckernet.com.

I had to get an upper and lower done. Did it as the same time. I asked the doctor to do the upper first, that way in case he forgot to change the scope, I'd be good.
Fast forward, he completes the first one. I wake up as they are flipping me over to start. Said, knock me out ... knock me out ... they were scrambling and then it was lights out again.

I've had it done twice. It's a wild experience for sure. Now looking back, it Does seem like time travel

It really is a trip... all I remember is that gown that covers little to nothing and asking the petite cute blonde nurse if she'd ever saw one this large ... those drugs are badass

"Never thought I would hear such a thing come out of the mouth of a shockingly beautiful blonde nurse"
Mine was a rather large black woman who asked me if I was nervous right before I went out. She assured me not to be that she would be right there with me. All I could say was "ok?"

I remember putting my pants on, then sitting in my recliner, then waking up the next morning. Well rested and starving.

Propofol wears off too quickly on me. I woke up during the procedure and scared the shite out of the tech by asking, while the image was still up on the monitor, if they found anything.

I've woken up every time mid tube
the last time they told me I tried to grab it and yank it out

I woke up in the middle of mine and watched and discussed it with my doc on the Big Screen.
