HELP ME POST A PIC ON THREAD

Can someone explain how to post a picture from my phone or computer file. I have tried Imgur.com and flikr.com but they go to site not actual picture. HELP PLEASE:

Once you've uploaded the picture to the image hosting site, you need to view the image only. On my operating system I have to hold down on the image until the option of "View Image" comes up. Once there, copy that link - usually ends in .jpg

It would easier if chicken prefilled the "https:" to the img box.
