Hope our Jiu Jitsu team can learn a thing or 2 from this.

Sounded like a 20 gauge going off. Compound break?

Yeah, not tapping to joint locks isn't too smart. You still lost and now your arm is fricked.

Dude should have kneeled on the ground after injuring his opponent. Show some respect instead of walking around like a retard.

You get not tapping issues at tournaments where the pride to not lose in a submission is pretty elevated. The sad thing is that it is a fine line between thinking you can get out of something and experiencing discomfort to the opponent really start torquing the arm/neck/leg/foot and you get a break or rupture.

How is it sfw if a guy gets his arm snapped off?

I couldn't quite tell where it broke. Sounded nasty, though.

You can lose on points.

He's been absolutely mauling people.
If you're a fan of BJJ, which I assume you are, check it out.
ETA: And for those that think ground fighting is boring, check out his fights against Condit, Brown, Nelson, and Magny.

You can lose on points. Kinda like a wrestling match.

I don't see that this was a case of the guy refusing to tap. Yeah, the one guy has control of his head and upper body and is working for the arm, but never has the arm extended in a way that would force the guy to tap. The injured kid resists enough that the other guy tries another angle that ends up snapping the joint. More of a regrettable accident than the injured kid being too stubborn. This is just my opinion, though, and I'm not an expert.

Yes he is very good but I am also really impressed with "Jacare" Souza. His jits is scary good, hence the reason nobody wants to fight him. I think he may be the best I have ever seen until Kron Gracie decides to go mainstream MMA. Kron is without a doubt the best, but that is just my opinion since nobody has really seen him compete on a large scale.

Jacare just got the shite beat out of him.
It was always between him and Demian in MMA (regarding longterm MMA fighters, not guys that dabble like Roger Gracie), but I've never seen someone maul people like Demian's been doing. He doesn't even worry about throwing punches from the feet and his opponents know it. They still get taken down and get mounted / get their back taken like a white belt. ETA: And for most MMA fighters they have to struggle to get the body triangle from the back. You don't even see Demian do it. It's effortless.
