Japon's rape and murderous rule of Korea likely lead the the Sun God's rise & rebellion and, thus, North Korea. They helped create this monster. I feel no pity for them. Edited to prevent slander charges from Jason
SO because past generation did horrible things, this generation deserves nuclear Armageddon. Gotcha.

Because frick Japan. That's why. Japan is honoring their convicted war criminals by making them Shinto "gods". Japan denies committing any atrocities during WW2. Japan blames the USA for WW2.
But go ahead and white knight for Japanese Surrender Monkeys.

No one deserves nuclear Armageddon but there are consequences for actions. American lives died in Korea due to that mess and American lives might die in North Korea to clean it up now. My pity lies with those men & women who are blameless, along with the South Koreans.
Americans don't deserve to die by terrorism, either, but we can hardly expect pity from the world when we've certainly contributed to the growth and power of ISIS and other terrorist organizations.
Sorry if rational thought hurts your feels.

PAY ATTENTION.
JAPAN TODAY vehemently denies committing any atrocities during WW2. They say that they are all lies.

The real travesty is that this was allowed to happen in the first place.
I am against intervention in the affairs of other countries, but my opinion changes when nukes are involved.

I read a story a couple years ago about a few people who were in Hiroshima area for the bomb and then got on a train...to Nagasaki.
Wonder how you say, "jeez, aw c'mon man" in Japanese?

To be fair we do a lot of that in the US as well.

frick Japan. I wish we could have dropped 10 bombs

South Korea I understand. Japan, not so much. There is a carrier strike group positioned almost literally in between them in and the DPRK with the capability to shoot down, literally, anything that DPRK is capable of launching.
I suppose there is the potential of a nuke or otherwise dirty bomb being sneaked onto a cargo ship inbound to Japan, but I would be shocked in Japan is taking in many cargo ships from North Korea these days.

WHAT? Besides the Union Army and the USA of the Civil War, when did the United States commit horrible atrocities on a scale committed by Japan during WW2?

No, I won't go that far, but, I am angry that Japan to this day glorifies that psychotic military dictatorship that they had during WW2. I am disturbed by the fact that they deny committing any atrocities and blame the USA for WW2.
It's disturbing to me that this is what the schoolchildren of Japan learn in school.

Japanese weren't exactly benevolent leaders to the Koreans prior to WW2, either.

There are statues of Confederate Generals throughout the Southern states of USA.
People regularly re-write the history of American slavery, deny the holocaust and take up for Putin.
Why the hatred for today's Japanese?

I was hoping you hadn't seen that. It was uncalled for.
I still don't get the lack of sympathy for modern Japanese due to forefather's actions.

Oh, I have sympathy for anyone, including Japan, who faces a nuclear attack. But I certainly don't pity them.

Japan is in virtually zero danger.

Why doesn't Japan and South Korea deploy their gundam force??

Yep,knocked the war mentality right out of the mean bastards. A little humility is very good for the soul.

Yes it does.
Given that we actually were the first to develop nuclear weapons and as yet are still the only ones to actually use them, will some on here feel like it is our just deserts to get nuked? Just wondering.

There is almost as much hate in that region as in the middle east. Everyone hates (and fears) China, Korea hates Japan, Japan looks down on anyone who isn't Japanese, etc.
