So Russia could send this to the Baltic without publicly announcing it right? I just ask because my cousin in the Navy worked on submarines and we never and will never know what part of the world he was in.

Typhoons were built to hide in the world's deepest oceans and stay there undetected for months, whereas the stretch of water separating Scandinavia and northern mainland Europe has an average depth of just 180 feet.
This will mean it will be forced to surface to avoid scraping along the sea bed, giving enthusiasts the chance to catch a glimpse of the beast.
Just two days ago, Lithuania warned NATO that Russia has the capability to attack the Baltic states with as little as 24 hours' notice according to intelligence sources.
Such a sneak attack would force NATO to respond with just the small number of military assets in place, the Lithuanian intelligence service claimed.
Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, annexed by the Soviet Union in the 1940s but now part of both NATO and the European Union, have been increasingly nervous since the Russian takeover of Crimea in 2014.

Russia announced it because they are douchebags.

Aren't we overdue for a Russia sub to spring a leak... and sink to the bottom of some arctic sea?

This rip had been planned prior to last nights events. The sub isn't in response

Everyone knows Russia has nukes. Moving the sub to the Baltic sea doesn't make it any more of a threat than if it was off the shore of Russia. ICBM's are ICBM's no matter from where they are launched.
This. It's all a show. Trump and Putin probably called each other and laughed about it then laughed about how much a clown McCain is.

Even Trump couldn't frick an actual war against Russia. The problem is Putin knows he loses unless it goes nuclear. Then we both lose

What if: a part of the SOS HRC Russia uranium deal was they pay WJC an extra $500,000 clams in cash in "speaking fees," and Obamaer and SOS HRC look the other way when Ukraine and Crimea are overtaken by Vlad?

While nuclear power is a real threat, it truely is outdated as well. The technology that we know about and what we DONT know about is unreal with the US military.
Look up "the rod of god" and not to mention the rail gun.

As someone said yesterday, the Red October would be vaporized by the multitude of attack subs currently following it as soon as it opens a missile door.

My cousin spent about 6 years on a sub. We never new when he was going out or coming back. We'd just get a call one day that he was on leave coming to visit. He told me some sweet cat and mouse stories though.
