Across the board, who are the most well known alumnus?

For example (and arguably the biggest and most well known):

Michael Jordan - North Carolina.

Who else?

Shaq - LSU?
Tiger Woods - Stanford?
Charles Barkley - Auburn?
Jordan Spieth - Texas?
Kevin Durant - Texas?

I mean, are we talking about most well known, or most well know where their school is known?

And are we just talking sports alumnus? Or in general?

If it's the second, cross Tiger off. I had no idea he even went to school. It would probably be Andrew Luck in that case. Or Richard Sherman.

LA Tech- Terry Bradshaw
ULL- Jake Delhomme
McNeese- Joe Dumars or Leonard Smith

Are you asking who is the most famous alumnus at every school, or are you asking who is most well known/closely associated with a particular school?

For instance, McConaughey might be the most famous UT alumnus, but I'd say Vince Young and UT are more closely associated with one another.

Kevin Durant played 1 year at UT. I doubt he graduated. Not sure any of your examples graduated except Shaq. Poorly thought out OP imho fwiw.

Basically, you're looking for someone who was a superstar in college and as a professional in a sport that is highly watched on both levels. It can only be football or basketball.

Jordan/Carolina is obvious.

Lattener/Duke is another one. Love him or hate him, everyone who has ever watched a tournament game knows who Christian Laettner is and where he played college ball.

The average, casual sports fan likely couldn't tell you where either of those guys went.

For UT-Arlington it would be Hunter Pence (though I think he was there only one season).
