Strongest arm on the team - Hearing a lot of comparisons are being made to Deshaun Watson. Not even 100% yet - he is going to be the real deal

It must be awesome to be a backup QB.
You are a damn rockstar until it's time to play.

But how is his accuracy?

Saw him in high school quite a few times, accuracy seemed pretty good in high school. I will say he had some studs he was throwing too and in most games I watched they were out-athleting teams which led to open receivers. I'm just concerned for him and his health, kid had two major leg injuries and he relies heavily on his feet.

This is a legit concern.. A lot of times, athletes come back stronger from this surgery these days.. Another major concern of mine with Lowell is that he's basically missed his junior and senior years, and this is the time when these guys really mature and start really digging deep into the why and how behind an offense.. I hope that he's kept up and can keep up at the next level, because he has all the athletic talent in the world.. It's going to be a fun ride watching him and Myles battle for the next 4 years..

He needs to redshirt and worry about being healthy and in shape. If he does that, he has as good a chance as anyone to start next year.
Kid has it all athletically - big arm, speed, and size. He'll have to work hard to earn the starting job from this coaching staff though. If he has that competitive spirit in him, I think he'll be great.

The only thing dumber than someone saying this 10 practices into his first spring is someone believing it.

We've had like 5 QBs who didn't accomplish that by their junior/senior seasons in college. If he doesn't get it, it won't be because he missed time in high school.

He is a competitor and after riding the pine all year on a bum wheel led his team to a state title appearance. I am more concered how two acl tears (one on each leg) will impact his mobility. One bad hit this kid's career is over and he may have trouble walking the rest of his life. From a football stand point, I think he still has what it takes despite the break from football. I just don't want this kids life to be ruined because he is a competitor. Hell his Junior year in high school hecame back to early and took a bad hit in the Dome. Place was silent for the same reasons I stated.

I heard similar things about Harris too, but the Miles factor probably had a lot to do with it

Watson has the weakest arm in the NFL draft so how can he be like him

I think the OP linked the wrong article. Just the last sentence mentioned Narcisse.
quote:
Orgeron went on to add that he’s been impressed by what he’s seen from newcomer and early-enrollee Lowell Narcisse, a southpaw quarterback out of St. James. “Lowell may be the most talented of them all,” Orgeron said.

Overreact much? People are coming back from ACLs in 6-7 months now. You're acting like this is the 80's. Boobie Miles would have been a stud had he lived 20-30 years later. ACLs are ligaments. They get replaced. It's not like he has the same ACL he is going to tear. Breaking a bone is much much worse than tearing a ligament.
I've torn my ACL and meniscus and after 5 months I was 90% healthy, and I was a college kid not even rehabbing hard. Lowell Narcisse will be fine

Alex says it best in blue mountain state. Backup QB is the best position in sports

I will wait until after the fact MPA to make my decision...if my memory is correct, this is where we found out that B Harris had the strongest arm in CFB, but couldn't hit a slow golf cart...
