It's an easy thing to happen, couldn't hate him for it.

He just bamboozled a nice long, fat contract out of Alleva. He knows he's not going anywhere.

Yeah, I'd say he's complacent.

Skip retired when he was 63. Paul is 59. Crazier things have happened than a 60 year old wanting to pack it up and rest

Have you seen how lazy his latest hires were? That answers your question.

It happened after 09 he got lazy, the seat heated up and he found the fire again but can't win when it matters in the post season. It's time to bring Blake home

PM is a strange guy. He's already admitted that winning the CWS made him lazy. Most coaches go nuts trying to win more championships.
Winning a big contract might be the worst thing for him. I wonder what this team would look like if his contract was 90% incentives.

Complacency is his biggest problem. It can creep in when you have such economic contract security. It is subtle, but he is not operating with the same sense of urgency and energy as he did in his early years here.

Interesting Wade compared his energy level to O, and not Manieri. I think he can regain it, but it will take a real passion and discipline.

Apparently just as easy as it is for you to do nothing with yours.

Lazy, but those guys can't threaten him!! He can boss them around and they will never ask a question. AD is comfortable, MLB paying for education for 2, Cain couldn't coach 10 Under baseball. They are using the LSU name to spring board somewhere else. The funny thing is they all make fun of CPM.

We don't care if CPM is content with his life but we do care when his being content means he stops doing his job at a high level. CPM has not recruited well enough or coached well enough to maintain LSU at the top level of college baseball. it is his responsibility and he has failed.
