I out earned my wife by almost double for the first twenty years of our marriage, now her income doubles mine, my job came with a nice pension for our retirement, so all in all its worked out great but i admit when she passed me it hurt a bit.

Her great grandather was one of the founders of the Bank of South Mississippi, now known as Bancorpsouth. So while I make more income, her net worth is quite a bit higher than mine.

The wife makes over twice what I make. Most of the time it's a great feeling. But it occasional sucks because I have to put up with her shite.

Initially mine made more money right out of school. I've surpassed her by a lot and now she works part time.

I make more than my wife but she takes home more than me. My job has better benefits and a pension so I have far more pay deducted.

Works out awesomely to be honest, we share both incomes.

I make 6 figures. My wife of 17 years makes more 6 figures than I make. It's a great feeling have two 6 figure incomes under one roof with the same goals moving forward in life.

There was a time when my wife was making more than me.

I was in the process of buying a car and the dealership credit manager was coming up with extra fees at the last minute. I told him we'd pass if the total went over the agreed amount. He tried to insist, I told him no. He came back with, "Well, it says here your wife makes more than you. I'll ask her what she would like to do."

100% sure way to immediately lose a car sale.

The wife's current job of preschool teacher at a church school cost me money in the long run. 4 days a week for 5 hours at $10/hr only during school months doesn't cover the cost of a the shite (laminating machine etc) she buys for work.
So no she doesn't make more than me but yes it bothers me a little but she loves her "job"

2016 was the first year i made more than my wife since we got married 9 years ago and I didn't mind it at all. There were times when she made 80k more than than me and she paid all the bills.

My wife earns more than me by bout 10K...but, I will be able to retire sooner than her, in about 13 years, where as she has 20 more to go, so it balances out I guess. My money will come with retirement.

Yep. I don't really think about it much, tbh. I make pretty decent coin myself.

When my wife and I were first married, I was back in school and she was working full time. It took a few years to catch up with her but there was never a problem with it.
