Daily Marriage -> Divorce horror story

Marriage is a one-sided providership contract. It is simply a terrible deal for men due to our modern laws and modern customs.
Keep telling me how women are attracted to you if you are rich. Keep spreading that lie. They aren't attracted to you. They are attracted to your resources. They will do the absolute bare minimum in the bedroom to ensure the spigot of those resources is turned on, even if the bare minimum is no sex at all.
These suckers with resources marry these women and think they have it made because they get once a month starfish sex from her(just to get him to shut up about sex)
The only bigger sucker in this story is the guitar player from church who is now committed to a post wall gold digging whore.
A just society would have men on the same page and never give these women a 2nd chance, but feminism and modern culture pretty much praises women for doing this and rewards them.

Q: What did you do immediately after selling your company?
A: "Got divorced and lost half the money. Well not immediately…
As soon as the deal closed I drove home, very excited, and asked my wife to log into our online banking account to confirm the wire transfer went through.
She sat in front of the laptop. I stood behind her, looking over her shoulder at the screen. That boot up sequence took forever (yeah, it was a Windows machine).
Finally, she logs in and clicks the account number and…there it is! A totally life changing amount of money. I feel happy, and relief, so much hard work and…
“Wow, I could leave you now, take half and never work another day the rest of my life,” she said flatly. And then she chuckled as if it were a joke.
Even as a joke I thought it was a weird thought for her to have in that moment. I chuckled.
Two weeks later she sat me down and said she feels disconnected in our marriage. We should go to a counselor to try to save things, but if we can’t fix it, we should split up while we’re still young enough to find someone else and get married again.
Six months later we were separated.
Six months after that we got divorced (yes, she got half plus alimony plus child support).
Six months after that she got engaged to the guitar player from church."

You think he would see a dime of that when they inevitably divorce?
Divorce courts are so tilted toward the female and those with money/lawyers with connections to the judges.
Good luck being able to hire a better family law lawyer than the woman.

The guy is better off now. He should just enjoy the money he's made. No use in crying over the other half. It's her's from the get go.

It's there's from the get go.
I don't see how any sane person can say that a woman derserves half. That's just ridiculous

I must've missed a step when I divorced. Shouldn't I be rich now?

Bad marriages/divorces are a door that swings both ways. My wife's best friend just told her that her husband (an engineer with an oil company) got arrested for soliciting a prostitute. Then she found other email accounts and bank accounts he had that showed this wasn't the first time. And me moved $70K into his other accounts.

There are several posters on here that apparently have been screwed over royally by women. I just count my blessings I found a woman fond of traditional family values. Yeah she's a little feisty every now and then but hats a good thing

6:08 AM and this is what's on your mind?
Posted on 3/29/17 at 6:36 am to goldennugget
Well you could always get a divorce and not have it go to court

Is this the excuse that you use for spending all your free time at a Turkish bathhouse?

I'm honestly just surprised Pecker isn't here already to tell us all how right Nugget is and then they go back and forth stroking each other off for 4 to 40 posts.

My ex made my life hell after the divorce and I was financially ruined for 5 years. Fast forward to 7 years after my divorce: I am happy, got a long time no drama gf, and 3 very good teenagers that I am proud of. Remember take care of yourself and your kids (if you have any) and ex won't mean shite to you in the whole spectrum of life. Oh yeah Karma is a bitch and she loves ex's both female and male.

I don't understand why guys just don't marry an OT 7 who loves football, hates shopping, makes 180k/year, and comes from money. Easy like Sunday morning 21 years and counting.
