It might sound wierd, but I wear the ceramic filter ear plugs when on the bike. The wind noise is killer on my ears.
But I don't think twice of busting off a mag. Except the 1911. I will not shoot it without plugs/muffs.
Most of what I shoot has a suppressor these days. My mp15-22 has a forward flash on it that I made out of a kinetitech fake can. It's quieter than some of the damned suppressed guns. All sound goes forward.

How dumb are you that you don't understand this simple logic? The kid didn't shoot them because they were stealing a stereo. He shot them because he didn't want to be beaten/murdered in his own home.

The problem with using an AR for home defense is where the rounds that miss their intended target go. It would suck to kill your kid in his bedroom while shooting at intruders.

The wrath of God will be upon them: sometimes the Justice is carried out later in life thru another event; other times it's instant karma like this one.
I CANT STAND a fricking thief, & if they lose their life over it, so be it. They are rapists of a different kind-- they cause trauma to one's sense of security that can take a while to recover from. It sucks looking at people with a cautious eye for the weeks after the incident.
The wrath of God will be upon them: sometimes the Justice is carried out later in life thru another event; other times it's instant karma like this one.
