Battlefield 1942 Omaha Beach with you and a friend vs. 3x the Axis bots...or 3x the Allied bots...depending on what side you're on.

Call of Duty 2. It's a pure ripoff of SPR's opening scene, but it's great.

CoD had a reputation for ripping off movie scenes. For example, the locker room/shower room scene in The Rock for MW2.

Battlefield 1942 had one of the best D Day designed levels.

For sure. Also most middle east missions in COD4 are straight out of Black Hawk Down. The gunboat mission in Blops 1 is right out of Apocalypse Now. The invasion mission in MW2 is just Red Dawn. Most russian missions in WaW and Cod2 are right out of Enemy at The Gates.

Not that I mind. Playing through cool movie scenes is fun.

This game is so awesome. I'll put on the PS2 and beat the game once every few months or so.

It was the first game I played when I put surround sound in my old house. Still the most intense moment I've ever had playing a video game.

GOAT D-day level.

COD1 had a good paratrooper D-day level.

Honorable Mention to Return to Castle Wolfenstein's Beach MP map. Not technically a D-day level, but modeled after the beaches.

Apparently we are the only two who thought BF1942 was good.
