If you guessed:

A Streetcar Naked Desire
, you'd be incorrect. But not alone.

shite, even the autocorrect on my phone predicted the correct word.

Video included in linked article.

quote:

A contestant on Wheel of Fortune on Tuesday missed the show’s answer to a putt.

A player identified as “Kevin” was one letter away from solving the puzzle. It read, “A Streetcar Na-ed Desire.” Kevin decided to spin the wheel again and landed on the $600 piece. He said, “K.”

“A Streetcar Naked Desire.”

He was wrong and the crowd let out a collected sigh. His opponent to his left correctly solved the puzzle, “A Streetcar Named Desire.”

"A Streetcar Named Desire" is the name of the famous play written by American playwright Tennessee Williams.

Pat Sajak, the show’s host, was a good sport about the mistake.

Did PeeJ predict "Kevin" to win?

Then Pat at the end of the competition told him, "I'm sure none of your buddies will give you any grief....... Good luck with that".

Wow, that's pretty dreadful. My mom was on wheel of fortune a number of years ago. She's always making fun of the morons on TV who guess stupid letters. So she's spinning the wheel a couple times and guesses "P". The puzzle now reads, and the category is "Food":

P_MP__N P__

We're in the audience, excited she's about to solve the first puzzle of the day... she spun the wheel and guessed "T"... we still can't have pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving anymore

Wheel of fortune annoys me

How is it that Jeopardy, one of the smartest tv shows with some of the smartest people in North America, is immediately followed by Wheel of Fortune, with some of the dumbest motherfrickers on the planet as contestants?
