I need ideas for an easy dipping sauce

I'm taking these crawfish cornbread bites to a meeting tonight. Some kind of dipping sauce might be nice, or do you think unnecessary for mini muffin sized bites? Maybe a honey mustard or a cane syrup glaze?
It's too late now, but these aren't cheesy enough.

I'd personally smear softened butter on them if I was eating them at home. You could do a honey butter? Yum.

Just pick up some Wow Wee, spicy or regular, and put it in a serving bowl with a small spoon.

I wouldn't think you need anything

Where can you buy Wow Wee in BR? Think Robert's on Highland carries it?

I think softened butter or honey butter would be awesome, (and a great idea for another time) but people are going to be putting things on small plates and I want something that you can spoon or pour quickly.
Otis, Wow Wee might be the ticket. I think I have some in the pantry, will check when I get home.

That was my original plan, but these might need some oomph. I'll have to taste them again when I get home. I made them quickly this morning before work. Maybe they've "aged" and improved. ;-)

I've used Cousin's Creole tomato for shrimp and andouille mini muffins.

I'm pretty sure they sell Wow Wee at Calandro's. If they have it there, than it's probably at Robert's, Matherne's, Rouses, Bet-R.

Melted pepper jelly sounds good

Only the tartar was at Robert's, but I'll get it next time I'm at Calandros.

Swing by canes and get a gallon of their sauce

I love Cousin's, but I won't have time to make a grocery store run.

mix BBQ sauce and mayo 50/50 and its a pretty good creamy BBQ dipping sauce for anything, its good just like that or add pepper if you want it spicey

Give us an update when you can.
Your crawfish cornbread delights resemble hush puppies, therefore a Wow Wee tartar sauce recommendation seems to be instinctual. Same with butter or a honey butter spread.
But who knows?.....Tell us what worked

Who made your oyster po-boy from the lunch thread a few days ago?
ETA: I think Gris' idea of melted pepper jelly is a great solution for you, Darla.

The po-boy was from Olde Tyme Grocery on St. Mary near UL. You've been there, no? If so, you know. Call it The Parkway West
I made a spontaneous appearance on a group of nurses having a meeting and they had a giant sandwich tray from Olde Tyme. They were particularly insistent on me staying and eating a poboy. I was more than happy to oblige.

You said an LLot made it.. Haha..
Not yet, my son is a freshman at UL... So, I'm sure I will at some point. Johnson's, B&CP, Social, Saint Street Inn and Dark Roux are favorites at this point. Plus, I'm there for work a little.
