Sources told ESPN that LSU intends to pursue some “big names.” Not sure if the Tigers can land them, but worth a try.

I'm sure this will just be another thread of Alleva bashing.

Is Chris Collins just gonna chill around at Northwestern until Duke comes calling?

Obviously, he's from there and has strong, strong ties to the area. He's gonna get to the tournament this year, and they're about to invest a bunch of money into the basketball program there. I'm certainly not saying he would come to LSU. But if someone like Indiana or Syracuse (when Boeheim retires) comes after him, he'd leave right?

Or do you guys think he's dead set on Duke or bust. He's only 42 years old.

LSU football could have landed any number of big names and settled for hiring Ed Orgeron. Ole Joe and F King aren't seriously going after big names.

Big Name Coach + Low Money Offer + Psycho AD = We're getting Rick Stansberry if we're lucky (and some big name coach somewhere is getting a pay raise)

I intend to win the lottery one day, too.

But what I'll actually do is a totally different story.

Just like:

Urban Meyer
John Harbaugh
Nick Saban
Dabo Swinney
Sean Payton

We all know how that ended

Well let's hope they at least try for some big names. Maybe someone will take pity on us and see if they can help.
