So you've never made a decision in your entire life based on someone's info?

Next the flag coffin photos will become important again.
Remember how important it was to get those pictures?
right up until Jan 20, 2009 IIRC

Um. Is the left now going to pretend that military men dying during operations is something new?

Wow I think that's first time I've seen you essentially admit your orange idol is a low down piece of shite. Because he is the one who tried to politicize this in the first place

Not clicking the link. Soldiers know the risk. I'd rather just honor him for his sacrifice than follow you in to making it political.
So do diplomats who volunteer to work in dangerous locations for the state department but that hasn't ever stood in the way of y'all claiming that Hilary Clinton killed Stevens

Easily the best thing to come out of this election is that liberals have completely abandoned the idea of talking to anyone but themselves.
The right thanks you.

Every single death by ISIS is on the blood stained hands of Obama...by completely ignoring his generals he pulled our troops out of Iraq and that directly led to the rise of ISIS...and don't play the libtard card of blaming Bush, the fighting was over with by '08...

We'll Trumps bad decisions got him killed so it is political. The same way you guys said Obama got people killed in benghazi
And you and many others on here were very quick to come to their defense on Benghazi.. so why are you surprised about this now?

No, they're just going to pretend that they care about the lives of these soldiers.

Does anyone agree with this grieving father?
To a point. If it was a classified mission then he'll know all he needs to know. I think there has been plenty of information available about the mission. But if he's looking for someone to point a finger at, well i don't think he deserves that information unless he was intentionally lied to for political gains.

Didn't Stevens ask for additional security and get turned down every time? Seems I remember that factoid from somewhere. Also, there's a difference between a soldier being on an offensive" mission as opposed to guys who aren't military but hired contractors for "defensive" purposes.

Stevens was a career diplomat, not a political appointee. He goes where his assignment tells him to go. And he was far and away the best qualified diplomat we had for the mission.
I have said it before and I will say it again, something was being coordinated in Benghazi at that time and it went horribly bad. And the reluctance on the part of the DoS to discuss it afterwards only reinforces it. Stevens knew the ground well. He was the right man for the job at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Or was in the right place without the proper security.

Watching politics play out for 65 years, I'd say you're right as rain here.

Meetings with Wissam bin Hamid and Ali Sait Akin on the day of his death were (deliberately) meant to be out of the public eye (e.g. in Tripoli). Why?
And there is still the interesting presence of a CIA annex nearby.
Hmmm.
