What makes you think that will solve the problem?

In fact, It seems that those that "stop and frisk" was the reason that crime dropped, have a correlation/causation issue to overcome since crime dropped in places with and without the policy.

So like the Obamabots touting Obama's economy policies as the reason unemployment improved, maybe most policies actually have little to no impact and the changes are related to broader social and economic changes, irrespective of government unless it gets in the way like usual.

It is really the state's job to help, but the suburbs try to keep all of their taxes out of the cities. States really need to focus on these issues with real resources.

Let me correct some misinformation on here...it depends on how you want to rate the cities...for example, New Orleans...the last year that I lived in NO, over 370 murders took place there, and this past years that number is almost been halved...whereas in Chicago, the number has been increasing substantially...you can believe everything you read on this site, unless I write it...lol

I mean, his approval ratings as mayor have been terrible and South Side Democrats tried pushing for his dismissal or resignation last year.

A presidential campaign at this point seems like a stretch.
