What a shocker. Dumbass redneck Republicans are the only ones who trust Trump more. All of the others who are more evolved seem to trust the media more.
This from a poll conducted by a Connecticut college with all of 10,000 students.
Another fake poll from the largest fake news network on the planet.

Ya gotta love the left.
If you believed their take on smarts and politics, you would have to conclude there's an inverse relationship between intelligence and economic success.

Just stop. Thinking that side of the media isn't affiliated with one another is ignorant.
Why do yall hate Trump so much? I didn't hear yall screaming when Obama was doing unconstitutional EO's literally in the middle of the night.
Democrats/Most Republicans problem is they are devoted to their party affiliation rather than facts. Example, if you believe Trump has Russian spies than Obama was born in Kenya.

And the polls from that University are known for their high quality.

Methodology for this poll . . . .
REGISTERED VOTERS
PARTY IDENTIFICATION
Republican 25% !
Democrat 34%
Independent 33%
Other/DK/NA 8%
Any newsoutlet publishing this garbage and representing it as even marginally accurate should fire any responsible elements of its production team and management.

This poll clearly demonstrates CNN's bias; of course they just overlook that part of the story.

Fake poll...CNN has no cred...

What's it say about those of us that are dubious about everything we read or hear?
Trump seems to lie about small stuff in order to make a point about an issue that too many seem to want to let fester.
The media lies in order to further their agenda and to undermine Trump.
I've grown accustomed to both and generally know what to filter.

Any newsoutlet publishing this garbage and representing it as even marginally accurate should fire any responsible elements of its production team and management.
For example, here are the demographics from the exit polling election day.
Pew Voter Demographics
And here is the party affiliation breakdown:
quote:So the Democrats in the Quinnipiac poll are consistent with that.
Republican 31%
Democrat 34%
Independent 30%
On the other hand, Republicans are -6% and Independents are +3%, but there are a couple things to consider.
1. Registered voter surveys tend to favor Democrats moreso than likely voter surveys and actually voting behavior. Of course, with no election in the horizon an RV survey is the only option. So we would expect that D +3 advantage to increase.
2. Party affiliation is fluid, and Republicans have appeared to become more likely to identify as Independents. Party Affiliation Trends
Not including leaners:
Including leaners:
But regardless of how one considers leaners and Independents, the Ds have had a +9 overall advantage.
3. The whole DK/NA category complicates it. Are those traditionally Republicans? Who knows.
In other words, the demographic breakdown is about as expected given the RV methodology and the overall party affiliation. The one complication is the DK/NA category.
Either way, it's ridiculous to default to the conclusion in your post.
