What level of men's basketball do you think could beat the UCONN women?

The basketball team at my high school my senior year finished last in the district but I still think they would beat the UCONN women. There were still 3 players on that team who were taller than anyone UCONN has as well as 3 players who went to play D1 basketball, one guy went to Northwestern, one to Hofstra and then a freshman Marshall Henderson
My cousin plays D3 basketball and I bet his team would beat UCONN by 30+

Your story doesn't add up.

You could put together an 8th grade AAU team that would beat them handily.

I'm 39 and haven't played competitive ball in 6-7 years. I'm not anywhere close to being in good basketball shape. I would average a double double against them, easily.

I will say tho, it will take an elite HS team to outshoot the UCONN team

MSB posters v Rousey and male tennis players v Serena make for a little bit better thread.

It was a good district
We were the whitest team in the district FWIW. Lots of talent.
Ron Brooks who played DB for LSU tore it up for one of the teams
Then you had another team who had 2 seven footers, one went to Colorado State and the other to Cornell
Another team had a receiver who played for Oklahoma and I have never seen a high school athlete be able to jump so high

Their shooting percentage would easily drop 10-15 percentage points. It's easy to be an effective shooter when you can spot up with no one in your face.

a good high school team.
Story time. When I first got to UGA our womens' team under Andy Landers was still nationally relevant. They were top 10 every year and usually expected to make the sweet 16 and beyond. Buddy of mine was a 6' white guy that was the 8th man on our high school basketball team, but he could play a little and was somehow (don't know the specifics here) asked by the women's team to be a part of a scrimmage squad, which I understand is common at many women's programs. Basically, staff members would hang out at the rec center and watch people play during open gym time or whatever and identify guys that looked like they played in HS and had some skills. They would get this ragtag group of dudes together a few times a week to conduct full scrimmages against our women's team. My buddy said that these guys would absolutely wear our women's team out. Run them up and down the court and basically had their way with them. I was skeptical at first but other guys I ended up befriending that were on this scrimmage team said the same thing. They said the difference in mens' and women's is just staggering and you don't really see it until the 2 go against each other.
Soooo while uconn right now is clearly the elite of the elite in women's basketball, I'm quite sure that a really good men's HS team could handle them. Your cousin's D3 team would demolish them.

Any high school team with some size inside would win. They would dominate the paint and the girls would have trouble creating offense.

How long does it take you to come up with these fake arse stories all the time?

I watched a college baseball team destroy a women's basketball(same university) in a scrimmage that same week the same woman's basketball team defeated team ranked in the top 5 in woman's basketball.

Thats exactly how it is
I worked for a WBB program for a couple years and the coaches would tell the men's scrimmage squad to tone it down a bit when they were dominating too much.
