you can claim it's not "mainstream liberalism" because that's a vague label but it's clearly the values of the current DEM party

That's actually a pretty succinct summation of it. His statement. Not yours.

People care so much about personalities, and very little about principles which make up political ideals. Same thing happens in churches with people following leaders rather than their faith. None of them probably started out that way, but they do end up doing the same thing every time. Its just easier that way I guess. I don't know. I guess we really are just a herd when you get down to it.

Lol. It's what Dem leadership spouts. It's what Libs on social media caterwaul about. It's not a plot. It's what your side has latched onto.

And I still don't know where y'all are pulling Roman Polanski from. I don't know or care what Meryl's views on him are.
Meryl Streep was just the big example b/c she talked about standing up to bullies and promoting progressive values blah blah while giving a standing ovation to the sex predator in her past (along with tons of Hollywood elite). Hollywood defends and supports RP even though he's an admitted, convicted child rapist. Milo's career seems to be dying in a day as a victim of sexual abuse who made comments about man-boy relationships, while RP is still making movies supported by Hollywood after admitting to drugging and raping a 13 year old girl

Yep. And I'll repeat what I said yesterday about this Milo outrage and the PewDiePie
Milo isn't a pedophile. PDP isn't a nazi.
They both made some mistakes to allow themselves to attacked, but no one is "winning" anything by attacking and shutting them down.
This is what I don't understand about the left/the media/the SJW culture we live in, what good is shutting down people who aren't actually bad guys? Why can't they attack actual white supremacists and actual child molesters and pedophiles?

Almost all posters here are cheerleading an administration which makes ups its own facts and appears so far to be more authoritarian than any we've seen in modern times, so I don't really know what this board stands for anymore.

Defending marginalized groups from discrimination has been part of liberalism for decades. If you feel that's gone too far in some places that's fine, and I wouldn't even disagree with that, but this idea that it's all liberalism represents in 2017 is myopic at best, intellectually dishonest at worst.

How can a side that preaches that there is no objective truth and that people can be whatever they imagine in their minds be against any perversion that comes down the line?

the progs believe in silencing possible opposition to these beliefs and promoting marginalized groups based on their identities

That's your interpretation, and to be fair I think that's true of the fringe. But what you're doing is basically blaming Mon Mothma for the sins of Saw Gerrera

I wouldn't count out Milo just yet. His supporters, and many of the people who are open to the things he has to say, have been conditioned to see these coordinated media attacks for what they really are: attempts to discredit and neutralize his opinion by smearing him and labeling him as something that non one wants to go on record defending, a pedophile.

On the one hand I agree, but on the other, the messenger has always mattered, too. Fortunately, Milo is so little-known to the public at large that it really is more about the ideas.
