Yes. The cancer is "not good at all" the cause is JJ. In order to cure it you have to cut out the cause. JJ must go and soon.

Most people who are really into basketball already knows this. Remember you are dealing with a fan base who thinks every year the tigers have a top 5 class. If A.B returns I would look forward to seeing an improvement next year. I'll make another post in detail since i know there are short attention spans reading through these threads lol.

NO TALENT, are you kidding? This team LITERALLY had the #1 pick of the NBA draft last year and didn't do shite with that, what make you think this schlub can do anything with lesser talent.

STOP defending the guy, he is in WAY over his head and will bring the program to its knees if he isn't canned soon.

Yet, some are considering him a bust. Buddy Heild imo was much better college player. And I caught flak for saying so......then they played each other. case closed

There's enough to be competitive and win at least 5 games in this years SEC.

You are wrong, & if the Bagman had been fired last year as he should have been, it would be obvious the talent he has pissed off. Player of the year, and he left not one notch up the ladder from his arrival. Geaux Johnny Geaux

Not much a coach can do, if you are missing shots, getting outrebounded, and are missing crucial momentum changing free throws.

If you're missing shots because of shot selection and because you're best shots aren't being taken by your best players.

If you're getting outrebounded because you're not putting your arse in someone else's crotch when the shot goes up.

Then yes.... it is the coaches fault.

Sorry, but i disagree, it's all on Jones, Hell he couldn't really hit free throws mind you when he played at LSU. It's all on him, never really did anything at NTSU and certainly has done nothing here.

Well this is just complete bullshite. Blakeney was a McDonald's All American. Sampson and Victor were top 50 players. Reath (though still raw) has proven to have a good skill-set for a 6'10 big man. Mays is a solid, young, PG.

Do they have enough depth to match up man for man with Kansas, Duke, UK, UNC, etc.? No. But there is MORE than enough talent to be significantly better than 1-13 in the SEC. With the right coach, this is at least top 1/2 SEC team. Under Jones, however, it it a bunch of individuals running around aimlessly with no direction whatsoever.

No one is saying this team has enough talent to be a Final Four contender. But there is ZERO reason they should be this bad.

Jones is a terrible coach and the players/program have completely quit on him. The players don't respect him because they know he isn't' worth a shite as a coach. They don't believe anything Jones tries to tell them will make them better (judging by his history as a mediocre, at best, HC) and just tune him out.

Um, maybe trying to actually coach the damn players. They get blame too, but when your team just looks lost for long stretches, then it is all coaching.

These players are not pros and need to actually be taught how to use actual fundamentals. This isn't street ball, you don't just go out there and run!

Do we even know why victor was kicked off? I bet johnny would take him back in a heartbeat for a chance to save his job

I disagree. I think he is counting on using Victor as an excuse.

They looked like a team early on, and competed (most nights), but after the dismissal of Victor they don't have the talent to match up against at least 12 of the other 13 SEC teams

Hell, if only they would play stretball, I would be happy. I just don't see what Jones is trying to do out there.
